BE-50 - Trench Protection and Pipe Installation

The open-cut method is the most commonly used technique for pipeline installation worldwide, particularly for gravity pipelines. While this approach may initially appear to be a straightforward construction method, it becomes significantly more complex when applied in urban environments or at substantial depths.

This course is structured into two comprehensive parts:

1. The first part provides essential technical knowledge on securing the trench to create a safe working environment. It explores the wide range of options available for trench safety and stabilization.
2. The second part focuses on proper pipeline installation techniques, including backfilling the trench and safely removing the shoring.
